Wordsmith, originally titled Wordsmith: A Creative Writing Course for Young People, is the core book of the three. The target age is grades 6 through 8 (ages 11-14). Wordsmith Apprentice, designed for beginners, is geared toward students in grades 4 and 5, aged 8-10. Wordsmith Craftsman is for high schoolers.
