We’d love to share the story behind how eat2explore came to life! It all began with our founder, Rowena, who sought a fun and hands-on way to teach her children about world cultures while helping them develop practical life skills, starting in the kitchen.
The spark of inspiration came during a family vacation, when they joined a cooking class together. While her kids eagerly sampled global dishes and enjoyed learning about new cultures, Rowena realized something surprising: they didn’t even know how to chop an onion!
That moment planted the seed for eat2explore—a unique, educational adventure that brings global cuisine, cultural exploration, and family bonding into the heart of the home: the kitchen.
