1. Organizers & Coordinators

  • Form and structure the pod (group size, meeting schedule, location).
  • Develop pod rules and agreements (attendance, discipline, safety, health protocols).
  • Manage finances (share costs for supplies, tutors, or activities).

2. Facilitators of Learning

  • Choose the curriculum or educational approach (public school support, homeschool model, or custom blend).
  • Provide or arrange instruction (teach subjects themselves, rotate duties, or hire tutors/teachers).
  • Monitor progress and ensure academic goals are being met.

3. Safety & Environment Managers

  • Ensure a safe and healthy learning environment (cleanliness, emergency plans, supervision).
  • Establish and enforce behavioral expectations.
  • Address conflicts or concerns among students or parents.

4. Community Builders

  • Foster collaboration among families and maintain open communication.
  • Plan enrichment activities (field trips, projects, group learning experiences).
  • Support each other with childcare and scheduling flexibility.
